Embodied Site: Sticks
Embodied Site: Sticks was a site-specific work that makes use of 3 locations in Point Pleasant Park, Halifax, Nova Scotia. At each site, twenty 1”x2”x8’ strapping were staked into the ground for a period of 7 weeks. At the end of the 7 weeks, the structures embodied the sites and became witness to their surroundings. The seemingly invisible came into view by means of the wood and the environmental impact was could be seen by the viewer.
