Limbic synchrony (mirroring) can help establish a rapport with another individual. Exhibiting similar posture or body language can lead to the belief that two people are akin to each other and thus similar minded, in attitudes as well as in ideologies. Untitled (mirror), subtly addresses this concept of synchronicity by having 2 fabricated chairs designed to face one another slanting slightly to the same side. The construction of the seating space also allows the participant to settle into the chair and respond to its formality in a more casual manner, consequently encouraging the mirroring behaviour and body awareness.
